Canadian standout and New Balance athlete Lindsey Butterworth won the second section of the women's 800 meters in 2:02.20, just off her personal-best 2:02.13, at the USATF Distance Classic at Occidental College's Jack Kemp Stadium. It marked the fourth victory in California this outdoor season for Butterworth.
