HOKA New Jersey/New York Track Club athlete Ce'Aira Brown prevailed in the fast section of the women's 800 meters in 2:00.38, her second-fastest career time, at the USATF Distance Classic at Occidental College's Jack Kemp Stadium. Brown became the 44th American female athlete to run under 2 minutes May 4 when she secured victory in 1:59.70 at the Henderson Invitational in Pennsylvania. Brown is the only American and one of five female athletes in the world this year with a sub-2 performance.
